Retail Sign Design for Kilohana Plantation TsunamiMarketing recently helped Kilohana re-brand itself from a “stuffy museum” — which it was perceived as, but never really was — to a more approachable and fun visitor destination that’s much more in line with the visitor attractions found on the historic plantation grounds. The unique offerings of Koloa Rum, Luau Kalamaku, 22°North, The Shops at Kilohana, and The Kauai Plantation Railway have come together in a way that allows them all to work together — and bring more visitors to this unique property. Now, with their bold roadside sign inviting visitors to explore Kilohana, the new position is literally front and center.

Kalaheo Steak & Ribs Logo Design Our good friends Caroline and Ernie opened up this fabulous new neighborhood steakhouse just around the corner from our office. This is the logo we designed for them based on their input of what they wanted the logo to represent.
Kupono Cafe at The Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa This logomark was actually illustrated the old fashioned way, then digitized and enhanced. We hired an illustrator with a specific style because it best fit the client’s brand. One unexpected result was that the Executive Chef liked it so much, he had it embroidered on his chef’s coat.
Kalaheo Cafe & Coffee Co. Logomark This neighborhood cafe is a fun and eclectic place to have a great cup of coffee, fresh baked good, garden fresh salads, and any number of other amazing breakfast or lunch dishes. It’s a “rise and shine” kind of place, thus the sun in the logomark. You should see the roadside sign – it turned out quite beautifully.
Kalaheo Café Website Design :: Launched in early 2012, this Kauai restaurant website includes e-commerce functionality that allows visitors to shop for Kauai, Kona and Hawaiian coffees. Built on the WordPress platform, the site is easy to maintain and administer by the client — and all credit card transactions happen seamlessly and securely. The design is fresh and delicious, just like the great food at Kalaheo Café & Coffee Co.!
Brennecke’s Beach Broiler Web Site With three core businesses to support, this web site ties all of them up in a nice neat little bow so that you can understand each piece of the Brennecke’s puzzle. Includes online retail store for logo gear and complete menu listings.
Web Site Design and Development This happens to be one of the smallest and least interactive web sites that we have created, but fun and sassy just the same. The food is fabulous, and the setting, well, you’ll just have to experience for yourself. It’s like taking a step back in time to Hawaii’s plantation era.
Wahooo Seafood Grill & Bar Website Design This website allows the restaurant to connect to Hawaii visitors before they arrive and drive trial by new customers.
Full Page Advertisement This playful print ad included a full day photo shoot to secure both people and interior/exterior restaurant shots that would showcase their fun and festive attitude. The final deliverable was four full page ads submitted to various publications, and all photos provided to client on disk and uploaded to his “Private Client Intranet.”
